Motor Union 5 Recap

jason huggins

It's been some time since our last Motor Union event. Two and a half years to be exact. It wasn't like we wanted to stop, we just had some personal obstacles we had  to deal with. We'll spare you all on the details. It took the persistence of Dave at Green FlashBrewing Co. to light the fire under our asses to bring it back. The guys at Throtl and HG Motorsport were also itching to do something so, we all joined forces to bring MU back. We were already more than half way through the car show season and what normally takes months of planning we managed to do in less then ten weeks. The first big change to this show was the amount of cars that we let into the venue. It was always our thought that in years previous we crammed to many cars into the space. We wanted to have a more curated space this time around with more space between the cars so people could really enjoy them. It also was important to us to make sure we had a positive representation of our motto "A mish-mash of all makes and modles".

Special thanks to everyone that came out including patrons, entrants, vendors and sponsors. It takes all of you to make this event great! Shout out to Crooks & Castles for all the raffle prizes, Momo for the set of wheels and Nitto for the set of tires. Mad love to Jarod Deanda for taking the time to come out and announce our event and congratulations to Patrick, Noel and Paul for taking home the drivers choice awards this year.

The Outsiders BMX and Motor Union 5

JC Lopez

We are super stoked to announce that we are once again teaming up with Outsiders BMX to bring some rad BMX bikes to Motor Union 5! Outsiders BMX started out a few years back as a small group of friends who had a common interest in Old School BMX. From their own words: “Outsiders BMX is all about the BMX culture and collecting aspect with the Outsiders Project expanding to various platforms, including clothing. Outsiders is more a project, than it is a brand. Our collections are inspired by the BMX Culture. All Things BMX! We host events throughout the year that bring BMX collectors together and keep the culture true.”

Let’s build the BMX culture together!

Date set for Motor Union 5!

jason huggins

The official date for this year's Motor Union is set for Sunday, September 25th, 2016. Like previous years, Green Flash Brewing Company will be the venue and gates will open to the public at 12 noon.

We understand this is very short notice, but please try and get those car registrations turned in asap. We only have 60 spots available and will be hand selecting the cars for this year's event.

Please tell your friends and help us by sharing this flier. We need as much help possible to promote this event and we greatly appreciate the love everyone has given us over the years.
